The Ballarat Beer Festival is On
This February 20 2021, sees the return of the Ballarat Beer Festival as we showcase over one hundred and fifty of the world’s finest craft beers. Come along, kick back under Ballarat’s summery skies as you sample, sip and savour your way to craft beervana.

All entry tickets include a Ballarat Beer Festival official tasting glass and lanyard.
Kids 13 and under free (no ticket required).
Due to COVID controls, tickets are available for 4 hour sessions and a limited number of all day tickets are available.

CASHLESS EVENT
Ballarat Beer Festival is cashless! Just bring your favourite debit or credit card. Each vendor will have a paywave eftpos unit.
Most importantly, there will be a reduced need to wait in lines, counting out coins to buy a beer, as your friends get thirsty for your round! As such, all food, merchandise and drinks purchased will need to be paid for using the simple, tap-and-go terminals.

Can I use cash?
Ballarat Beer Festival is a ‘cashless’ festival. Only debit or credit cards can be used.
Refund Policy
Should the event be postponed due to COVID-19, tickets will be transferred to the new date of the event automatically.
Ticket fees will be refunded to patrons who cannot attend the event due to:
1. COVID infection on provision to the event organiser of a certified copy of a doctor’s certificate; or
2. Government instructed COVID-19 isolation on provision to the event organiser of written evidence of such an instruction from the responsible Government body.
Patrons denied entry to the event due to COVID-19 restrictions can apply in writing to the event organiser for a full refund of the ticket fee.Getting to the event

By Train
Take a train from Southern Cross Station to Wendouree Station, which is one stop after Ballarat Station. All trains run frequently. To plan your trip to the Ballarat Beer Festival with V/Line please click below. The gardens are about a ten minute walk from the station or take a tram.

By Car
Ballarat is located 115 km northwest of Melbourne, approx. 1.5 hours drive along the M8. Take the Ballarat exit and pass through the city centre. Then travel along Sturt Street and turn right at Hamilton Avenue, which is about 3 kilometres from the City centre. Signs throughout the town will direct you to Lake Wendouree and you’ll find the festival on the far Western side opposite the botanical gardens.

Parking
Ballarat Beer Festival encourages responsible drinking and suggest that you and your friends use public transport, Uber or taxi to get to and from the festival. If you do need to park your car there are plenty of free parking spots within walking distance of the event.
